Hemlingbybacken and Snowpark
Open for the Season!
On Saturday, January 11, we are thrilled to open Hemlingbybacken for the season. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a fun-filled day on the slopes with us!
Important: More Snow Needed
Thanks to recent cold weather, our snow cannons have produced artificial snow, but additional snowfall is needed to fully open the facility. Snow production and work on building the Snowpark are ongoing, with the goal of opening the entire area soon.
About the Slope
The slope is approximately 200 meters long, offering three runs from the top. A dedicated run for children is available at the left lift. The slope’s vertical drop is about 37 meters.
Children's Evenings and Afterschool
Our popular children’s and youth events, *Knattekväll* (Wednesdays) and *Afterschool* (Fridays), will return this season!
Lifts
The slope features two button lifts for your convenience.
Snowpark
If you love freestyle fun, Hemlingby Snowpark is the place for you! Explore rails, boxes, jumps, and more.
The Snowpark includes:
- Jumps
- Rails
- Boxes
Food and Snacks
A small selection of snacks is available at the lift station. Picnic areas with benches and tables are located nearby. For lunch or a coffee break, visit Hemlingbystugan, located above the slope, offering a café and restaurant.
Warming Huts and Shelters
At the base of the slope, you’ll find several grilling areas and a warming hut open during the slope’s operating hours. *Skarvstugan*, a warming hut near Hemlingbystugan, is open during Hemlingbystugan’s hours. Additionally, there are around 40 shelters with grilling areas throughout the Hemlingby outdoor area.
Toilets and Outdoor Restrooms
Toilets are available at the base of Hemlingbybacken and in Hemlingbystugan. An outdoor restroom is located near the trail center, with additional restrooms along the trails. Toilets are open during daytime hours.
Welcome to Hemlingbybacken – where winter fun awaits!
